SHAKING THE SHELL

I am coming out of my shell! I am playing with my toys now and am getting more comfortable with new experinces with each passing day. I am warming up to the other dogs that live here but they can be kind of loud sometimes! Still we all get along well. I don't have a mean bone in my body so if they get in my way, I just walk the other direction!

MORE ABOUT HOLLIS

Hey there - my name is Hollis. I am glad you are reading about me because I have so much to tell you! I am the sweetest gal around and I love my humans, especially the male ones. I am a dreamboat on a leash, I know how to sit, shake, lay down, come, wait and those other things you humans get a kick out of. I also know how to counter surf, although I am very gentle about it - I haven't taken anything off the counters, my FPs think I just like to check out what is up there. I am a great sleeper and companion, I am perfectly happy to sleep the day away lying at your feet. I like to ride in the car with you when you go places. I am in foster now because I was owned by an older couple who I spent all day everyday with and then my dad one day had to go live at a home where people could take care of him. I got upset that he wasn't around anymore and my mom was gone a lot to see him and could not handle my anxiety so she started boarding me too frequently to the point where I wasn't capable of being crated and left alone without getting upset. But now that I am in foster I am making great progress! I am not being crated now but my FM is around a lot to help me work through this. She has left me for almost 2 hours now and video-taped me she thinks I did great!! She is confident that my anxiety has already started passing and will get much better with time. If you have read to this point, please don't stop now, I am 8! Yep,I still have a lot left to do and experience. I love everyone I meet, I am great with all dogs and kids, even the real small ones. There isn't a mean bone in my body. I love to snuggle on the couch with you if you want me to, but will stay off if not invited. I am a decent sized gal around 65 pounds and have so much love to give. I need my forever family to be around a lot and I can promise you that adopting me will be one of the best decision you have ever made, I will love you unconditionally!
