"The one absolutely unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is his dog. . . He will kiss the hand that has no food to offer; he will lick the wounds and sores that come in encounter with the roughness of the world. . . When all other friends desert, he remains." - George G Vest

A DAY AT THE PARK
We went to the dog park on Sunday (which I hear is a weekly thing around here) and I think I had a good time... I was a little overwhelmed by all of the dogs zooming around me but LOVED hanging out with the people. I went up to each person to make sure I had greeted them properly and to make sure they petted me at least twice. About 30 minutes in I really started having a good time and was chasing tennis balls and rolling in the grass. I think I could learn to love it!
