UMMM... MY FEET ARE COLD!

I may look like I am pointing, but I really have ice balls in my toes. While I still love to get out and run, the boys can have the snow! I'll take the couch!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

MISS MISCHIEVOUS

I have started to do this thing that is driving my FM crazy. I am eating toilet paper. I don't pull the roll out and string it all over the house, I literally eat it like corn on the cob... This just started 2 weeks ago and I have slowly but surely managed to do this to every roll of of TP. There are 5 bathrooms in my house so I have been a very busy girl!

DON'T EVEN TRY TO RESIST

How could you resist this face?? This is me and a little Weim we watched for a few days. I have the most beautiful eyes, once you see them you just can't get enough!

I am doing so well being left alone. We are up to 4 hours and I am now just getting a treat when my FPs leave instead of whole Kong (we still do the Kong thing occasionally for fun). What progress I have been making!

CORRER RAPIDO

Please forgive us, we are practicing our Spanish. The weather has been so incredibly nice that we are going hiking during the day instead of in the dark, so I get to share some pictures with you! That may not make sense but I can explain. My FM prefers to take us out first thing in the morning (when it is usually dark) so we can get an hour and a half of exercise in before she has to work. We have strobe lights we wear on our collars - It takes less time to wear us out in the afternoon when it is warm.

I have no use for the water, but love hearing my feet trotting across the bridges! I am also much faster these days. MY FPs are proud of the much needed muscle I am packing on!

ROAD TRIP!!!

My FM and I took a "girls trip" to go and visit her mom and sister. We had so much fun just hanging out with the girls! It was a four hour trip (one way) and I was so good in the car my FM had to turn around a couple of times to make sure I was actually in the car!

Oh, and don't tell my FD, but I got to sleep in the bed on vacation! We didn't have any issues with it once we got home - I went straight back to sleeping on my dog bed on the floor - it will be our little secret:) I am so easy to sleep with!

STEP ON THE GAS SLOWPOKE!!!

There is a 300 acre wildlife preserve my FPs take us to where we can safely run off-leash and stretch our legs. I have been on the training line since the beginning, not because I run off, but because I am a major SLOWPOKE! I could stand in one spot and sniff for an hour if you let me. They finally let me off my line today and I kept up pretty well. They keep telling me I need to "run and be free", whatever that means. If I continue to pick up the pace like I did today I might actually get some real exercise in :)

Also my blanket just arrived! I left it at my last home and missed it terribly. As soon as my FM opened it up and gave it to me, I began suckeling it. I even took it to my bed to sleep with it.

A DAY AT THE PARK

We went to the dog park on Sunday (which I hear is a weekly thing around here) and I think I had a good time... I was a little overwhelmed by all of the dogs zooming around me but LOVED hanging out with the people. I went up to each person to make sure I had greeted them properly and to make sure they petted me at least twice. About 30 minutes in I really started having a good time and was chasing tennis balls and rolling in the grass. I think I could learn to love it!

SHAKING THE SHELL

I am coming out of my shell! I am playing with my toys now and am getting more comfortable with new experinces with each passing day. I am warming up to the other dogs that live here but they can be kind of loud sometimes! Still we all get along well. I don't have a mean bone in my body so if they get in my way, I just walk the other direction!

I LOVE SLEEPING!

I love sleeping the day away. I am not picky about it either, but I especially love to sleep in the sun (usually on my back)!
